We have been hearing about the BBC iPlayer for iPhone from so long but never got any proof. Finally we got a lead on this by the Leaked BBC monthly press back. Usually press back contains iPlayer computer version statistics and details but latest monthly release has got an image of iPlayer application running on iPhone. Looks like the waiting will soon be over with the BBC press release.

If we believe on rumors, the iPlayer app will be more or less same as desktop version and it will allow downloading and watching video at a later point of time. It will be a downloadable free application and provide all the services free of cost for UK users but still we haven’t got any details for its visibility and usage for non UK users. Not to mention that iPlayer desktop app allows free online TV and Radio in UK from so long.
